What happens on moving day?

Our team will arrive at the agreed time and the first thing they will do is have a guided tour with you. This is so we can go over exactly what items are going, and if there is anything staying. And if there is any furniture that needs to be dismantled and rebuilt. This is also a good opportunity to discuss any particular fragile items or awkward access etc. Then the team will go about professionally moving your furniture and items to your new home.

Will you put everything where we want it?

Yes the team is there to put all the items exactly where you want them, as long as physics allow 😉

Can you really pack up our whole house?

Yes, believe it or not we can pack up most houses in one day. Our experienced team will pack up all your items. We use high quality double walled boxes that will protect your precious belongings . We use specialised paper to individually wrap your glassware and china. And use bubble wrap to protect delicate items like picture frames, audio equipment etc.

If we take the packing service, when does that usually happen?

Normally the packing service is done the day before the move. If we can't do it the day before, it will then be done the closest day after that. Then we will finish the last few bit’s on the morning of the move.

Why don’t you use bigger vehicles?

Well apart from our name Bristol “Van” Removals, Luton vans are very handy indeed. We can take care of any size move, and they are very handy getting down tight streets. We only need to load one at a time, so if your road or house has limited access this is easily overcome.
